Some of us are called to spread health and healing to our communities and we can’t imagine earning a living any other way. Journey with me as I lead people to a life of physical health, spiritual vibrancy and mental clarity. Imagine a world where people take the time to take a deep breath, feel into their body and commune with Spirit before taking action. That is what I invite you to do right now. The funds will help me expand my business and transform more lives.This is my 7th year teaching yoga and during that time I have acquired over 400 hours of training in anatomy, alignment and philosophy. I have also completed over 3,000 hours of teaching; touching lives with positive energy, clearing physical pain while increasing emotional stability and spiritual vibrancy. What I have NOT done is learn how to run a business!
This money will help pay tuition to further my business studies with the OM Academy. By helping me continue this journey, you will help a woman owned, minority business thrive. I will then be able to employ others, and ultimately open a retreat center where we can do deep healing, hold teacher trainings and provide a beautiful center for other teachers.
In addition to increasing my own business knowledge, for every $125 dollars raised, I will be donating classes to the Mom's of Girls on the Rise. Girls on the Rise is a program in DC's Ward 8 that increases the self-esteem of young women, helps them achieve academically and gives them a safe space to be after school. I volunteered a class last year and loved the community of educators, social workers and parents. I enjoyed meeting the parents so much, that I wanted to offer yoga to them at no cost. In addition to teaching yoga to this group (the girls' yoga needs are already being met) I want to teach them to become Yoga Teachers and Empower this community by teaching them how to run their own successful yoga business!
