I never thought the day of my 26th Birthday I'd be brainstorming with my family and friends on how to save my Dad's life.
Meet my Dad, Jacko:

Upbeat

A couple of weeks ago he was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. He had a spell with it 3 years ago in his right breast (it's extremely rare for a male to get breast cancer), had a mastectomy, and that was that. Well now it's back in full force. At the moment he is not in any pain just really low energy and has lost 45 pounds. To see the man that was never sick, always on his feet, practically invincible, so down and looking so frail hurts more than I could ever put into words. My Dad believes with every ounce of his being that chemotherapy at this point would take him away from us much sooner. Most oncologists he's seen are complete jerks and won't even entertain the thought of alternative treatment.
I'm writing to you today because we found an excellent Integrative treatment center for Cancer here in Orlando for him to go to. Unfortunately, his insurance plan will not cover treatment and they are a pay out of pocket facility with treatments starting between $100-$300. All my family and I want is to give him a fighting chance and respect his wishes to not do chemo. I refuse to roll over and accept his fate, this treatment center could give him time but we need help. It is extremely hard for me to ask for help but I'm asking for it now. My Dad is my hero. Help me give him a chance to seek alternative treatment at this medical center. Please donate to help Jacko with his medical bills, treatment, and expenses.
