ITTY BITTY KITTY
This adorable, sweet kitty showed up on my (literal) doorstep, 8/18/18, looking like she was starving to death. Her name reflects how small and fragile she is.
We took her to the vet, gave her IV fluids and had a full panel of bloodwork done. We have been caring for her for 2 weeks and are happy to say she is showing vast improvements!
Due to a variety of reasons, we are unable to keep her as our own and are seeking a furever home for Itty Bitty. This is going to be a bigger challenge than most because of what we learned from the bloodwork.
Therefore, we are starting this GoFund campaign to help with the medical costs and care Itty Bitty will require. We do not want cost to be a deterrent for anyone interested in adopting her.
WE WILL REQUIRE THE ADOPTER TO PAY THE MEDICAL BILL UP FRONT, PROVIDE US WITH A COPY AND THEN WE WILL REIMBURSE THEM FOR THE COST. This way we are sure your dollars are going to Itty Bitty's care.
*We have had many other bills already but I could only upload one, which was her initial visit. *
Here's what we know about Itty Bitty:
She is a Calico cat
Approx. 10 years old
Weight: 6lbs.
She has signs of kidney disease
She is anemic
She has a grade 3 heart murmur
She had a UTI. We gave her an injectable antibiotic and she will need to be rechecked in another week to see if it worked
She may have a neurological issue as we have seen her twitching - although this does not seem to impact her quality of life.
She seems to be a little hard of hearing
You can see why finding her a home could be a challenge! The vet has warned us that she needs to be an indoor cat as she is too frail to be outdoors.
IF SOMETHING SHOULD HAPPEN TO ITTY BITTY BEFORE ALL THE FUNDS ARE USED, WE PLEDGE TO GIVE THE REMAINING AMOUNT TO ANIMAL SPIRITS, A NON PROFIT ANIMAL RESCUE.
