Help the Italy Earthquake Survivors

Donation protected
The death toll in the Italian earthquake has tragically grown to over 250 (and does not seem to be stopping) as rescuers continue efforts to find survivors trapped beneath the rubble of their homes, businesses and schools.

Small villages that have lasted centuries such as Amatrice, Accumoli and Pescara del Tronto, in mountainous central Italy, have been decimated within hours. Many are injured, and thousands are now displaced.

Survivors who have been displaced from their homes are forced to sleep outside with nowhere else to go.

There have been hundreds of aftershocks since the quake struck, hampering relief efforts and damaging already unstable buildings.

Won't you help us help the Italians of Amatrice, Accumoli and Pescara del Tronto by donating $5, $10 or even $1000? We believe in helping them so much that we are going to ship a thank you gift of one full 16 oz. pound of our freshly roasted Vallorani Coffee  to every person who donates $25 or more through the end of August.  And 100% of all donations collected will be sent to help those in need in these small Italian villages.

More than 4,300 rescuers are using heavy machinery and their bare hands to free those trapped beneath. The worst part is that once they're freed: they will have no home and nowhere to go after.

Vallorani Vineyards, LLC , is a small company based in Dallas, GA, with family and business ties to this same region. Thankfully, all of our family and business friends are safe and unharmed, though shaken up from experiencing this act of Nature!

Citizens of nearby towns are not so lucky to have escaped tragedy. We want to go over and dig in the rubble ourselves! But right now what is needed most is to send money to reputable churches and charities in the area to help them care for the displaced who have survived though their homes have not. There are large foundations taking money to help, but have been embroiled in scandal for not giving the funds to the cause for which they collected. We are going to be in contact with local churches to provide them 100% of the  funds collected to help feed, clothe, and shelter the citizens of these small towns who now are without a home, many who have also lost loved ones.

You may enter any amount into the donation field. Every penny received will go to help  those who have lost it all in a matter of moments. Vallorani Vineyards will be responsible for withdrawing and wiring the funds to our contacts in the area who are only 50 km from the worst hit towns. We will be posting updates as we receive them so you can see how these funds will be helping these people.

We have so much. These citizens in Amatrice, Accumoli and Pescara del Tronto now have nothing. Won't you help us send them some comfort in this time of great need?

Update 8/27 - This translation is not perfect but shows you what is going on in Italy right now! From the local friends: To All citizens,
Good evening, I am the president of v.v.a.a. of guidonia, the civil protection of via lake of the tartars. It's been two days that I do on and off the field of amateur and today I have a little more clear... the first moments of our arrival there were terrible and at the same time we had to hurry to set up in a short time together with the Other volunteers in the field, this afternoon, but I am dedicated to fully understand the situation on the ground and the needs of displaced persons.
I would so with this my post indicate in a practical way the situation and if you can please spread this news.
The food there is in astronomical amount... that doesn't mean that what has been collected will not be delivered but will expect that if he needs more.
Talking to people on the spot I have confirmed that they don't resented if the clothing wasn't new, so as long as in good condition and clean we can bring.
The Detergents for the daily hygiene are there in good quantity, so they could serve of here in a little bit of time.
But what's more real and real is in a message of a mere aquilana... undergarments are very poor and barely people are asking us in shame.
So today they are urgent garments less that anybody can think I mean underwear, socks, bras and t-shirts / rower intimate.
The whole of various sizes, especially the middle great for men, women and children of both sexes.
Of course the underwear should strictly be delivered new for a matter of hygiene.
For those who spoke of the inscriptions, in general we normally we documents with simple but as you can understand you can't improvise a volunteer of civil protection for these events. The volunteer must be met, all format, dress and insured and this is not possible in the blink of an eye. Therefore do not be offended if you don't do sign up now.
That being said thank you really so endless for what it has already done... you also like us you have been in this great tragedy fundamental and priceless. Thank you
