kidney and pancreas transplant

I'm doing this on behalf of longtime friends kimberley and Andrew.

Andrew is a Father of 3, a Husband, a Son, a Brother and to many, a friend. Andrew has been a type 1 diabetic since the age of 5. Due to his diabetes, for the last 7 years Andrew has end-stage renal failure. He is unable to work due to having dialysis for 5 hours every second day Andrew has approx 44 needles a week. 6 really big ones for dialysis there 15 gauge ones. On top of all this he suffered from heart failure which meant that he couldn't walk more than 10 metres without being out of breath. His heart has improved but he is still breathless some days due to excess fluid from his kidney failure.
His wife Kim has been the only one able to work which means it has hard to make ends meet. Every time they get ahead with everything they fall behind due to constant medical, travel, food and accommodation expenses. Most of Andrew's operations are done in Brisbane.
Andrew is now currently in Brisbane for an operation. He had to go by himself as his wife only just started a new job and wasn't sure that she could take time off. Also with the additional costs, they just couldn't afford A place for Kim to stay and the additional food. This has taken a toll on both of their mental and emotional state.
Andrew is on the transplant list and he is at the top, but will need to be in Sydney for three months. The expenses while down there will add up. His wife is required to be there with him which means she will not be able to work to pay the bills and rent.
Andrew and Kim don't like asking for help - it's just not them. But times are getting tougher and any little help they can get would be greatly appreciated more than anyone would ever know. Please find it in your heart to help these lovely people so they can look forward to a brighter future together.
