The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:13- “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” Charity in this context means love and that is exactly what we need for my Brother Marcus.
As many of you know, Marcus has been fighting cancer for more than 2 years and between this dreaded disease and the treatment regimen, it is affecting his continued ability to work. The course of treatment is requiring him to travel back and forth to Atlanta, GA and as everyone of you can imagine, Jen, his wife is by his side every step of the way. This has caused them both to burn through all their vacation time and they are now both taking unpaid days off. Marcus has applied for applicable disability coverage, but there is a process to follow before that kicks in, quite honestly it isn’t enough to cover the additional cost of fighting to be there for his family.
Many of you have been very generous in helping them and bluntly I am asking for your help again. No amount is too small and if almost 2300 people we have listed on our Facebook accounts donated $10 each, we would raise $23000.00 to give this family some peace of mind to focus on Kicking Cancer’s ass!
