Helping Thiago cover his brother’s funeral costs in Brazil

Hi everyone,

I just lost my baby brother in Brazil this past Saturday. My brother had a difficult week, he seemed to use substances, and the rest was tragedy. He was 37 years old.

I was the first in the family to know and went to Brazil immediately. I’m using all the resources available to take care of myself. I’m grateful for all the messages asking how you could help. I’ll be ok.

I worry about my family, including my brother-in-law. We already lost my grandma this past December and they don’t have much. I want to minimize as much of the burden to them so I decided to cover the funeral costs.

Many of you have asked how to help, this campaign is an opportunity for you to do so. It's also my birthday May 9, in case you want to help in lieu of a birthday gift. The funds will help pay for the costs of my brother's funeral and anything extra will go to charities dealing with mental health and substance use.

You can also help me by reminding me to be gentle with and take good care of myself. Even Care Bears need to receive "Care Bear" energy. :)

Energetically, please pray for my brother, and remind those around you how much you love them. It comforts me now to know that I've got to say to my brother how proud of him I am and how much I love him just the way he is.
