Helping the woman who never asks for help!!

Anybody that knows Nikki, knows that she has been dealt some of the toughest cards in life. From being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at a young age taking her dreams away from her, to having twin girls who were very sick the first 3 years of their lives, to burying her husband at the age of 28 to suicide, to countless medical issues & her health deteriorating. Most people don’t know that Nikki has fought to stay alive more the past 6 years, than she has enjoyed life. She suffers tremendously every day but with a smile on her face. She is the strongest woman I have ever had the privilege of loving & would do anything for everybody else. She is the most selfless, loving, loyal person. She never asks for help beceuse she doesn’t want to burden others with her trials. But Nikki needs help!
Most people dream of going to a beautiful, remote island. Not this girl. Nikki dreams of going to the Mayo Clinic where she has been told they can help her not suffer every day. In January, Nikki’s doctor let her know that she was in contact with the Mayo working hard to get her there. (This has been worked on for years). Nikki was then contacted letting her know that her dream was becoming a reality. I’ve never seen hope in someone like I saw in her. Watching all hope fade from her the past few years has been heartbreaking. This dream quickly became one she knew was probably not going to happen. Her insurance dropped her because she is under 65 & on Medicare & was not able to answer “no” to all of the questions in order to be approved for the policy. She was told by The Mayo that she would have to pay $5,000 down in order to even come. We were all devastated! Nikki has struggled to make ends meet being a single mom for years (until recently) but also she had her & her husbands identity & credit stolen from people she knew & trusted only to have it destroy her ability to ever climb out of the hole they created her.
I want her to still go! We all want her to still go! She deserves to go! She has lived her life for her kids & everybody else! She deserves this chance more than anyone I know!  Nikki would NEVER ask for help from anyone! But I am going to! Please help me get her there! Please help her babies have their mommy back. They have already lost so much & are having a hard time watching their mom deteriorate every day!
We love you, Nik! We just want you to be able to have the opportunity to get better!
