Helping the LeFebvre family recover
Donation protected
On the morning of October 11, 2021 just before 6am, Mat LeFebvre was struck by a vehicle during his morning run in Rochester near the Home Depot and Burger King. He was wearing a strobing head lamp, front and back flashers, and had reflective clothing. After being struck by the vehicle, he was dragged underneath it for a period of time before the vehicle stopped. After a brief stop, the vehicle started again, this time, running up and over his back with the rear tire. The vehicle did not stop, and fled the scene heading down Twombly Street.
Mat is currently in the ICU being treated for extensive spinal and head injuries, along with dozens of other breaks and fractures. He's going to have a very long road to recovery.
Mat is a husband and a father to 3 adorable boys. He is one of the nicest, most genuine people you could ever meet, and he did not deserve this.
Please consider donating to his family, who will be facing escalating medical bills throughout his surgeries, rehabilitation, and hospital stay. Every little bit helps.
