Helping the Hartse’s, help Baby Madden!

Happy New Year Everyone! There are lots of exciting things already happening and it's only the beginning of January.
The most exciting news came from my cousin Ashley and her husband Dusty's brother and wife, Derrick & Kylie Hartse. Their 8 month old son,  Madden Wes Hartse was born with a rare liver disease, Bilary Atresia.
He underwent his first surgery, which was a Kasai procedure where they attach the intestines directly to the liver to allow bile to flow properly.  They were told this was not a cure and eventually Madden would need a liver transplant.
Well time passed and the surgery was deemed unsuccessful.  It is now time for Madden to get a liver transplant. A live donor is the best option for infants.
They have had Family & Friends rally behind them and many have stepped up to be tested to donate a portion of their liver to sweet baby Madden.
One of those amazing people is his Uncle Dustin Hartse.  Him & his wife traveled down to Denver to undergo several tests & many appointments with the liver transplant team.
After a week of waiting for the team to do all their extensive work, the call came in that Dusty is a match!
What an amazing gift that Madden gets to have a liver transplant provided by his uncle! Dusty has a wife Ashley and three beautiful sons, Harley, Cooper & Lincoln, who are so proud of him.
They have all decided this is the biggest and best gift Dusty can give their loved one baby Madden.
Dusty works his tail off in the oil field and has been doing so for 14 years.
During the year of 2020 he was moved all over the United States but still managed to hold his job in some form.
The surgery will be covered by Maddens wonderful insurance but the cost of travel, lodging, recovery, & time off work will not. Dusty will be taking 6-8 weeks off to recover. 3-4 of those weeks will be spent recovering in Denver at a home that they will need to rent. Ashley will be the caregiver for Dusty and will come and go as she can.
The sole reason for this Fund is to provide a cushion for the family to cover all these extra expenses.  They want Dusty to heal properly and not feel he has to hurry back to work because of money.
Your kindness, love, prayers and support are so greatly appreciated.
It doesn't have to be much!
Let's get Madden this transplant & get him on to living a long healthy life!!
God Bless and Happy New Year!!
