Helping the Durange Family

A couple months ago my dear friend Michelle's husband Jack found blood in his urine. He went to the doctor thinking it was a kidney stone and upon further testing he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Appendix cancer which is rare and difficult to treat.  He was supposed to go for surgery August 29th at Hershey Medical to have chemo but upon opening him up they found he had way too many tumors and that his cancer was worse than expected. He is going to need chemo and be reevaluated in a few months to see if they can operate.
Jack is one of the hardest working men I know. He is a true family man who does everything he can for people. Michelle teaches elementary school at ACES in Littlestown, PA. Michelle is the first person to come to someone's aid when they need help whether she has it to spare or not. She is a giving loving provider and has helped so many people in this community.
Now is the time to give back. Jack is not going to be strong enough to work and support his family and Michelle is going to need time off to help him get to appointments and frankly just emotional days as well. They would never ask for help but I am asking for them. The last thing they should have to worry about right now is making ends meet. Let's come together for them like they do for the community.
