Helping Teressa Heal
First, we would like to say thank you to everyone who has been involved in the emotional and physical support for Teressa after her tragic motocycle accident on December 15th.
Teressa was in ICU for 10 days due the injuries she sustained. These include, laceration on her brain and spleen, a pneumothorax, five fractured vertebrea in her spine, a broken collar bone, a broken scapula, and many many other broken bones and injuries.
Gratefully, Teressa is out of ICU but will require surgery for many of these injuries and rehabilitation for a very long time. Due to the nature of these injuries, the road ahead will be very difficult.
Teressa was in the process of relocating back home to Texas from New York when the accident occurred. She was currently living in her RV until she could find a more permanent living arrangement.
Our goal is to raise money not only for the astronomical medical bills, the loss of wages, but also to provide her with living arrangements that will be more accomodating for her recovery.
