Helping Pat & Charlie with a Major Home Repair

Hello all, I am the eldest granddaughter of Pat & Charlie Francis, and I’m here (voicing for us collectively as a family) to try to rally anyone who could lend a helping hand.

To those who know my grandparents, you know how selfless these two are. They have been a safe haven for anyone who has fell on unfortunate times, and they have gone above and beyond for many people with no questions asked. It is an understatement that they would give their last dollar if it meant to better another’s situation.

It’s now time to be there for them. A broken sewer line has caused serious backup and issues under and surrounding my grandparents extremely old home.  Anything raised will help pay for the cost to repair and renovate the serious problem. Their insurance does NOT cover this. 

They would undoubtedly do what’s necessary to pull together enough to take care of the damages, but being the holidays, having expensive medical issues of their own, and having to pull from other savings we as a family are hoping to gift them with the very compassion they have always shown. They have not asked for a dime, only for our understanding they would be foregoing the holidays this year. While we have all gathered what we can, it is a larger bill than expected, and more than we can collect within the immediate family.
