Diny Adkins was born Dientje Krant in 1938 to Jewish parent in the Netherlands and went into hiding in her home country after Germany took over her home country. While in hiding in nine locations including a closet, homes of strangers, and the forest, Diny Adkins never could forget the constant feeling of hunger.
Diny has been traveling the US to spread the spirit of peace to our younger generation for no charge. She was invited to attend the 25th anniversary of the Holocaust
Museum in Washington DC however she is not able to make the trip due to lack of funds.
