I’m starting this GoFundME on behalf of my parents, Margaret and Franz.

4 months ago Margaret had to undergo significant back surgery after spending many years in pain.

After being run around for 4 years with the medical system in Canada they got in contact with a doctor in Mexico.

Within 3 weeks of contacting Dr. Max they had a surgery booked and flew down. 3 days after arriving in Mexico Margaret underwent surgery.

The initial thoughts were that everything went well and they would be coming home 2 weeks later, but 2 days into her recovery she continued to have pain and the decision was made to undergo surgery again.

This time they found another nerve had been pinched in the first surgery and everything needed to be done over.

Although this was a necessary step, it pushed the 4 week timeframe back another 2 weeks that they had to stay in Mexico.

She’s on the road to recovery but to help my dad had to leave his full-time job and work part time.

Due to this bills have been piling up.

With rent, bills and hospital fees creating a mountain that keeps growing I’ve decided to open up a fundraiser to help them get back on their feet.

Margaret is getting better and better each day and Frank will be returning to work full-time asap, until then we are asking for your help to keep them going.
