To try & begin to talk about how unlucky in health I'm in I'll need to rewind my story to July 2019 the month my life changed & not for the good!
I was bite by a Spider!! Yes a "Spider" a brown Recluse Spider the doctor thinks it was that nasty recluse! I dint know till it was to late. I was asleep at my inlaws cabin and I went swimming the next day in a lake which pushed the crud in deeper!
To try to not make this a book which shoot I probably could write one because who has my kind of luck..
Ok so for a month it put me in the hospital a couple times and it drained for a month! I got cellulitis & MRSA which led me to surgery close to my spine in October. . Along the path of healing from the spider bite the found thyroid nodules that needed to be biopsy. That was by far a feeling I never want to feel again. You can legitaly feeling them tug inside your neck. So gross! Lucky for me it was around Halloween and it looked like Vampire bites!! Test came back undetermined for cancer. So my journey brought me to a 2nd opinion. Which led to a ENT specialist sticking a long black tube up my nose and down my throat. The biopsy made my tonsils go insane. Tonsillitis & Strep at the same time. They were inflamed for over a month! (Little history about me I do not have a Gallbladder & I have a hiatel hernia) that black tube showed the specialist that the nodule was right on my vocal chord. Also he diagnosed me with LPR disease. Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (LPR) Laryngopharyngeal reflux is a condition in which acid that is made in the stomach travels up the esophagus (swallowing tube) and gets to the throat. Symptoms include sore throat and an irritated larynx (voice box). Treatments consist LPR may worsen or even cause other life-threatening diseases, including asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis and cancers of the throat and esophagus; scary stuff. ... Excessive throat clearing. Sensation of lump in throat which doesn't go away. Frequent loss of voice, frequent hoarseness.
He also said my tonsils needed to go ASAP!
Forward to December 11th weds morning after getting meds. a semi "SEMI" failed to yield and smashed right into me. He told the police officer he assumed I had a stop sign ♀️ So now I am still out of a car! 1/13/20 no car!! Grrr
Ok rewind 1/7/20 a full Tonsillectomy was performed! He had me stay over night in the hospital. I went home the 8th then 1/9/20 back to the operating room to stop the bleeding. This is by far the WORST pain I have ever been in!!!
Ok so here is my story. Sounds like there is no way one person can go through all that but I did!!!
I'll be posting all of my lovely updates from FB on here. It's crazy how much I've been through and yet I still try to fund some sunshine out of it. I do thank God & my mom who I unexpectedly loss to a heart attack 6/18/18 . If it wasnt for them I'm sure I'd be in heaven right now. But they know I need to keep a roof over my father head and kiddos and hubby.
I'm making a GoFundMe because I need help financially! I've tried so hard to manage on my own but it's gotten to be to much!! I try to avoid it to because the back lash I'll get. But REALLY come on!!! I'm a BARTENDER making $9.68 an hour. I do NOT get PTO! All this time off did a number!! I just was good at hiding my money problems because we ALL have them!! But I have to put my 3 kids, dad, husband, 3 dogs first! I cannot lose everything I worked so dang hard to get... People can talk all they want! Those who wanna help I appreciate it tremendously!! Those who want to but cant! I totally understand!! Those that just dont want to I get that as well. But dont shame me for reaching out for help. Freaking county wont even help me!!! Dont get me started on that lol...
I'm still out of work for atleast a week to 2 weeks. In 6 months I have to have an ultrasound done on that nodule. Praying it's off my vocal chord so I can have another surgery. Another sleep study for me as well in 2 months. My husband did work but he got laid off and unemployment isnt paying. So now he is looking for a new job!
I need a break! I'm sorry that I have to swallow my pride and ask for help. Please please please consider helping me through this hard time. I am behind on mortgage and car payments but I talk to people they know I'm trying. I keep giving them my last dollar. Christmas time around my house well my kids understood this year why they barely got anything from us!! Santa was the girls favorite this year.
Anywho I'll end this here but I'll continue to give updates on me. Thank you for everyone prayers and love along my journey. I do appreciate the love! Specially right now when all I want is my mom! Like every sick child does. Please see updates for pictures!!
