Helping the Muñoz Family Over This Hill

Friends and family, howdy, and I hope to find you all well. I’m Ben, Jonathan’s Brother (Karen’s BIL). I debated back and forth on this as it’s always an uncomfortable ask, but I find so much value and beauty in the support and co-op of community, so after much thought and acknowledgment of the willingness my brother would have to help others I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger.

As you all likely know, my brother runs and operates his own business consisting primarily of him and my dad. This past year has been an unusually bumpy road for Jonathan and the family. He had to have surgery in the fall which put him out of work for nearly two months. My father was also out earlier in the year because of surgery for a second blood clot. The family then had to deal with two bouts of kids in and out of the ER this past November and January. On a positive note, Jonathan and Karen welcomed their fourth child Liam into the world on January 20, 2024! He is a happy and healthy baby and they are beyond thrilled with his arrival.

Two days after Liam was born Jonathan received his bill for his surgery from last August. With the culmination of medical bills and nearly two months of missed work Jonathan and Karen find themselves in a difficult situation. Jonathan’s business is busy year round but at this time of the year poor weather conditions hinder his ability to work as often as he needs to which is why I am creating this GoFundMe page.

I know that some financial support would greatly assist Jonathan and Karen. No amount is too small. Any bit of your own hard earned money is so beyond appreciated and will help alleviate the burden they’re experiencing in this season of life.
