Helping Mia May and family
Donation protected
The adorable Mia May has been diagnosed with langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). A rare disease involving clonal proliferation of Langerhans cells.
Langerhans cells are a type of white blood cell that normally help the body fight infection. In LCH, too many Langerhans cells are produced and build up in certain parts of the body where they can form tumors or damage organs.
for further information on LCH please click on the links below.
Mia is undergoing chemo therapy to fight this desease. As treatment is not available anywhere near where they live they need to travel far to get chemo therapy.
The money raised is to help the family with treatment, travel and living expenses and to keep them together as much as much as possible.
Any amount of donation will greatly help the family get through this hard time.
