Helping Ottawa Live Musicians During Covid!

Many Ottawa live musicians are self-employed and are now dealing with a complete stop in performance revenues because of COVID.  They have rent to pay and some have very young families.

As independent contractors, they do not qualify for unemployment insurance or other government salary support plans - and this drought in income could last a long time...

Ottawa's Hunks and Punks Band has set up this fund and is working with Mike Northcote Professional Corporation for accounting services to distribute 100% of the proceeds to independent musical contractors we know and work with who are facing a significant drop in income.  (Neither the Hunks & Punks Band nor Mike Northcote will keep any of the funds and both are donating their time).
