Helping Karen With Medical Expenses

Like most people, our dear friend Karen isn't one to ask for help. But under the circumstances, I asked her if it was ok for me to make a GoFundMe for her.
Recently Karen spent some time in the hospital after having debilitating headaches, dizziness, and loss of consciousness. After multiple tests, her doctors have decided that it would be best that she not return to work until she has the surgeries that are required.
Currently, she is unable to drive or do a lot of things that would be within her norm because she has lost vision in her right eye. She was diagnosed with having a severe cataract that could potentially cause blindness if not treated. After additional testing, they found that she will eventually need to have the same surgery on her left eye as well. Her doctors are continually running tests to figure out what is causing additional health issues she has been having.
Karen's husband is a seasonal roofer, who could potentially get laid off due to the winter months coming our way. In addition, they have two little girls they are trying to care for through all this. Which is hard enough for any parent to do on a normal day, let alone trying to do it through the pandemic, being unable to work, and not being at your full 100%.
Karen would give the shirt off her back and food off her table to help anyone in need. So I would like to do the same for her. The surgeries are expensive and the out-of-pocket cost that she and her husband will need to come up with within the time given is near impossible with only one income coming in. And due to the weather, they are unsure how long that single income will be available.
