Helping Hurricane Dorian

We started this project after reading a Scholastic News magazine.  We read an article about kids making a change in the world. We had an idea for our school "why don't we start a small program just for our school and try to raise around $150 to $200." Two weeks later we realized we had doubled our goal, so we made our new goal  $500.   We would love  to donate to the American Red Cross and they'll send to the Bahamas to help. Our program that 4 students and a teacher created got to be so big that Channel 5 News wanted to interview the 4 students and the teacher. We said  "we would love to do that"!  From Eastside Elementary to the local news, we are changing the world.
