Helping Homeless in Need for the Holidays
Donation protected
Our names are Delilah and Monica and we are asking for your help to contribute to the homeless in need. During a pandemic, there is a lot of people in Los Angeles who don't have the essential things to survive these hard times and we want to help them out. It makes us sad when we are driving with our family and we see some people that don't have the basic things, such as a mask to survive a pandemic. With the holidays approaching, we would like to do something good and make a care package for the homeless.
I know one simple care package isn’t the same as giving them a house or a bunch of money, but what I learned in school: A little act of kindness can go a long way. We want to see all the happy faces when passing out all the care packages.
The Care Package will include:
· Hygiene products such as shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, and feminine products.
· Winter essentials such as socks, gloves, beanies, hand warmers, and thermal blankets.
· Covid-19 products such as Hand wipes, masks, and gloves.
· Food such as tuna packages, granola bars, trail mix, and water.
Living in LA, we see how big of issue homelessness has become and we want to make a difference even if its a small care package. We want them to know that they are still cared for and even though it is just a care package, we that gives them a little bit of joy
