Helping Holtzclaw - Medical Expense Fund for Kevin

On February 16th, Kevin went to the hospital and was admitted due to what they thought was an infection on the leg. It was later discovered that what he had was necrotizing fasciitis. This bacterial infection is better known as the "flesh eating bacteria" and has destroyed the layers of tissue in Kevin's leg down to the muscle. The infection also entered Kevin's blood stream causing septic shock and as a result his kidneys have shut down. Kevin is undergoing dialysis and has had skin graphs to cover the wound caused by the bacterial infection.

Because of this infection, Kevin has had countless surgeries and has needed multiple units of blood. We are holding an expense assistance blood drive in conjunction with the Blood Connection in Kevin's honor to replace the blood used and to provide a benefit to his medical expense. We have also started this page to assist with other medical needs as they arise.
