Helping Higher Education for Refugees

I have been sponsoring the education of 2 Yemeni refugee girls + 1 orphan Somali Girl in Mogadishu Somalia for the last 6 years.. Some of these children's parents arrived with large families and faced by hard choice of feeding the children or educating them.. 

Its really a rewarding goal to have seen these young girls matured and developed to read and write English and compete with their fellow students in High school and graduate..

But the dream has recently expanded  and the goal post moved further up and wanted to see these girls finish university and eventually find work to help their siblings and parents.

Unfortunately the problems we faced once they finished high school is their lack of identity card if they so wish to travel and study abroad to further their educational needs. (They want to be  accountants, aviation management students and public health sector officials), since most of these Yemenis, specially the kids  have not obtained any Yemeni ID cards and Passports  before fleeing Yemen, it has proven hard to make an option for them to see if we can put them in a specialist university abroad without chewing into their education budget that i have saved for them.

So this page was set up strictly for raising funds to try obtain ID documentation for them and helping them with their University degree education in the first 1 year possibly.

For all those that are interested in helping children's/Girl Education Drive and a firm believer that education reduces poverty, ignorance and violence  please donate what you can here, every little helps and i too will take couple more shifts each week to make it happen..
