Helping Hattie recover from Flood
Doação protegida
Many of you know Hattie Miller, who dutifully cleans our building and our offices, always bringing a smile to our faces with a cheerful hello or a witty remark.
On September 19, tropical storm Imelda tragically impacted Hattie, awaking her family in the middle of the night with water filling her home. It is the second time her home has been flooded. Her floors, carpets, and many parts of her home are once again ruined. Despite the tragedy at home, she was in the office this morning, dutifully keeping our building clean.
Hattie needs immediate help to get back on her feet. Right now she does not know whether she will try to make her home habitable again, or simply restart and find a new home. In either case, she needs immediate funds to have a habitable place for her family.
For all the times Hattie has put a smile on our faces, let’s work together to put a smile back on hers.
