Helping Hand to A Wonderful Man

3/19/18 Update:   
Carl's services were held and it was standing room only.
I was not in attendance but I am told the support from the community was outstanding.    

Doug and I are wrapping up this effort to raise some dollars to support Joe.  We are hoping to reach our goal and turn the funds over to Joe to be used at his discretion.   

We are hoping to reach our goal by 3.30.18.   

Joe Lupa. 
He means a lot of different things to a lot of people. 
And he needs us now. Joe recently and very suddenly lot his beloved son Carl.    

Northlanders:   Let's Help Joe! 
Joe Lupa over the years has given to us all selflessly in one way or another.    He's obviously grief stricken and needs us to all pull together to help him.    He can also use some help with some expenses. 

I spoke with the venerable Doug Stoves and we cooked up the idea of a Go Fund Me Page.  He and I are working together to support the great JOE LUPA at this time in his life when he needs us all the most. 

Let's marshall our resources to support the great Joe Lupa.    He's one of a kind and he made a difference in all of our lives.     It's time to show him that we Northlanders never forget.


What you can do: 

#1 Donate some money. 
Cash will be given to Joe to be used at his discretion. 

#2  Share a story. 
Let's give Joe some stories and thoughts to read as he grieves.   Come on people.   Send it to us digitally via this site.  Or post them below and we will print them for Joe.   We will collect all of the messages (digital or material) and take them along with the money to Joe along with a contingent of Northlanders that we can drum up. 

#3  Try to touch base with Joe!
Let's all make an effort to touch base with him over the next year especially as he ride ths out.     Let's show Joe that we all love him and are here for him like he was for us.
