5/15 CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 2220 Snowy Egret Lanes, Los Osos; St. Benedict’s Church lawn. 4:30-7 pm. Dinner and music provided. We are also planning a fly over at Dad’s request around SLO, Avila Beach and Diablo May 14. The time has yet to be determined.
4/3 UPDATE: It is with great sadness and sorrow we report that our family has lost a legend. Our big-man, Hammer, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. We are left with a large emptiness to fill. Celebration of life will be planned, date TBD.
4/2 UPDATE : Our family was unfortunately given Awful news regarding our dad. He will succumb to his injuries sustained in the motorcycle accident. He has suffered brain damage that is irreversible. Our family thanks everybody for their time and love as you have reach out to us. We thank you for your donation. Monies collected will assist with funeral costs
4/1 UPDATE: dad is back in the hospital with brain bleeding and swelling. Please pray. He is unable to take calls.
3/23 pm my Dad, James Hayes, was hit & run on the freeway in SLO while riding his Harley Davidson. Please keep him in his thoughts moving forward. He has extensive left leg and foot injuries that will require multiple surgeries over the next few months as well as a small head injury which is stable at this time.
Jim and Jody unfortunately will need to rent an apartment that has ADA handicap accessibility due to his injuries. This is a unexpected expense that insurance will not cover. We are looking for the driver and vehicle that hit him And stick her with all the bills. In the meantime it falls on dad and the family to help. Every little bit helps.
Big thank you to all the friends and family IBEW and Diablo Canyon that has reached out to our family during this difficult time.
The weather is getting nicer and bikers and cyclists will be out more on the roads! Please share the road, look for bikers and drive safely! ♥️
