Helping Danny Kick Cancer

Hi everybody, This GoFundMe is for the benefit Daniel (Danny) Wright of Buna, TX and family. SSG Daniel Wright served in the USMC for 13 years. In his time in the military, he did multiple tours overseas in combat zones protecting the freedoms we enjoy daily. After leaving the Marines he came back home to South East Texas and began working construction in the refineries and chemical plants local to our area. Danny hired in with me at ExxonMobil at BPEP in 2017.
Early this year during a routine check-up they found a spot on his skin and sent it out for testing. When the results came back they found it was melanoma. At a follow up appointment it was found that the melanoma had spread to his lymph nodes. He then went to have the lymph nodes removed, and they then became infected and has since caused more problems. Currently the cancer has spread to his spleen and the bones of his spine.
Danny has a family of 2 sons and a wife that depend on him daily. From the time he hired in with me he has been a work horse, doing all that he could to provide the best living possible for his family. Danny and his family began building a new house in late 2019 in Buna, Tx. They we're very close to finishing when he found out he was sick. Since April he has been out on short term disability leave, but being that he's only been with the company for 3 years, he's only accrued 8 weeks of full paid leave, and is now receiving half pay.
Danny did more for this country in 13 years as a Marine then what we could ever hope repay to him, but I want to do all I can to help out him and his family in their time of need. I am asking that anyone who could donate, no matter how big or how small of a donation please do so to help them.
