Helping Dad and Mom, with a Seriously Injured Son

Our wonderful son, Ho Dong, which means a "Tiger of the East", always has an active life.  Along the way there have been mountain climbing, swimming, wilderness hikes, camping, and martial arts. But it’s all been ‘on hold’ since the sixth of January, this year. It was a serious one-vehicle collision that occurred when the driver of a car where Ho Dong was a passenger fell asleep and the car rolled over. He has multiple injuries, and has received surgeries in ICU at UNM Hospital. Our son will face months, possibly even years of physical therapy. 

In the meantime, his younger brother and his father, Joseph, and I have made and will make alternate visits to attend closely to Ho Dong and encourage his progress. While we have faith in him for overcoming life challenge and going through recovery process, there will be expenses for our family to support his recovery in on-going basis. We will be seriously grateful for anyone may feel able to contribute during these hours of completely unanticipated needs. We all look forward to seeing our ‘Tiger of the East’ is back on his feet.
