Helping Charles Little get back on his feet
01/23/2020
Around 7 pm I received a Facebook Messenger call from a friend. I assumed that she butt-dialed or accidentally called me on there as it was unusual, however I still decided to answer. Upon answering, she then gave me the worst possible news: that my dad’s trailer was engulfed in flames. Immediately, my family and I rushed over to his house. That car ride was the longest 7.5 mile ride of my life, not knowing if my dad made it out of the fire safely.
Soon we arrived at the scene and a police officer approached us and he immediately told us that my dad was okay and that he in a warm car with a neighbor. My father’s caretaker, Jason, was extremely distraught over not being able to save their dog as well.
Everything that my dad, Charles and his caretaker, Jason owned was in that house. (The home did not have insurance) From their wallets to their cell phones, to all of their clothing. All of their personal belongings were destroyed in the house fire, as well as their beloved dog, Sharlie.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you!
