Helping Carlos rebuild his life
Donation protected
My dear friend Carlos Guzman lost everything he owns (video posted below)in the Atlas peak Fire in Napa valley on Sunday, the 8th of October 2017. He was asked to evacuate that night by helicopter and even almost had to leave his best friend behind(his dog Rex). Carlos refused and said that he would be the last to go on the helicopter if that is what it took to bring his dog. He lucked out and they were able to escort him down the mountain by vehicle and bring Rex.
It breaks my heart to know that he lost everything he worked so hard for, Just like so many other victims to this uncontained fire, that rips through our home towns. He deserves better than that so, I thought I would do my best to help him out.
Carlos was raised in Napa Valley and he plans to stay here In Napa as he rebuilds his life. He works hard at a local winery and hopefully that isn't taken from him either.
If you are able, please try to find it in your heart to help the victims of the Napa and Sonoma county fires. If you can't afford to help with money, find other ways. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you so much. #atlasfire#napa#sonoma#survivor#8,000firefighters#185injured#23dead#
