Helping Brenda Kuzma

Brenda has been a friend of mine for years. We've worked together in the past, and have just always been able to pick up where we left off.
I got a call from her a few nights ago and she was sobbing and could hardly get her words out. It was the worst nightmare a parent could face. Her son, Reid Kuzma had been found dead in his apartment of an apparent drug overdose.
After being in a program with my own son, I urged Brenda to get her son in as well. Only God knows why this disease takes some of our kids and not others. It's the hardest thing, because we, as parents second guess our every move when something like this happens. 
Brenda has been a single mom to 5 kids for most of their lives and has provided for them. Going through her Facebook photos, you rarely see a picture that doesn't include her laughing and cutting up with all of her kids present. 
Her wish is to take her kids and Reid's ashes back to Michigan ,which was home for them and have a service there. 
This means Brenda will miss days working and needs to pay bills and the airfare to get her family to Michigan.
