Helping a woman with Scoliosis to do her surgery
Donation protected
My name is Sana
My niece Razan Eltayeb is now 32 years old and lives in Sudan. She was just 9 years old when she was diagnosed with scoliosis (Multiplant T1 & T2), a curvature of the spine that restricts growth and causes extreme pain. It affects around 1% of the population.
She had her first surgery when she was 10 (1999) in a hospital in Jordan.
I am raising money for Razan to have a second surgery.
The Doctors advised she needed this surgery aged 18, but because of the higher cost (€14,000) she has not been able to afford the surgery.
Her father is not working after having a stroke twice and is in a wheelchair unable to speak or walk. Razan is the oldest of 4 brothers and sisters, and she is the only one currently working.
At this time she is having a lot of difficulties in her movement and is in a lot of pain.Razan is such a great niece, a nice young successful woman who can build a future and support her family after this operation. She is a fighter and has already achieved her Masters in Engineering. She is very active in socitey, volunteers a range of civil society organizations in Sudan.
Thank you for helping me to help my niece.
