Helping 18 year old Acid victim in Uganda

Hello Secular friends and allies,

I am Mpagi M. Micheal. I am currently living in North Pacific- USA. From 2000-2019, I have given out thousands of dollars in humanitarian crisis and human rights campaigns that matter to me in addition to my time in volunteering . I have shared my secular compassion and empathy with total strangers that came from different backgrounds and regions in Uganda and South Africa. Furthermore, I have helped students whose academic credentials were held due to unpaid university dues, and this held the receivers from jump-starting their lives because the keys to open the door are held without mercy.

I have significantly paid direct medical bills of the least fortunate in our society. I have seen the lives of people saved as a result on extended arm, people who were in agony, from HIV/AIDS-stricken bedridden to women suffering from severe pain of un-operated fibroids. I desire to continue helping the least fortunate people who urgently need medical attention who otherwise die for lack of funds to be admitted to hospitals. I work directly with hospitals and reliable associates on the ground. This means money is paid directly to the hospital where the medical service will be given. Also in countries like undesirable Uganda, I have a team of volunteers who veto the prospective patients in a way that we are not taken advantage of. Our relief is meant for the poorest amongst us. No exception. This safeguards from scams --people trying to get money- in general. There are genuinely many people in need and unfortunately scammers hurt the real needs! Having said that, I welcome you to read more about what I do on www.mpagi.net

On 23 December 2019, I came across this story that touched me.

" December 23, 2019 at 5:35 PM ·

Good morning, I have a problem and I am challenged, I have 4 acid survivors but the one they brought this week has a touching story, She was burnt on 24th September last year, she has been in Masaka hospital for one year and 2 months, then on Monday she was transferred to Mulago and I was called to intervene. The 18 years old girl was burnt by someone who wanted to marry her and when she refused he decided to pour acid on her. She is an orphan, all her 3 aunties died of HIV, she has been raised up by her grandmother who is too weak at the age of 103 years and cannot take care of her. She has been in hospital alone with no caretaker, starving because she cannot afford buying food, even getting medicine and dressings has been a problem, she has nothing. She lost one ear, one eye, the breasts were burnt completely, the neck is joined and the wounds are still fresh. She has no bed sheets, drinks food money etc please you can support her with anything that you have. Let's save her life please".

I immediately suspended my payment of my incoming bills and basics--in order to rise funds for this victim of intoxicated masculinity and evil men.I then dispatched my associates in Kampala to go and get in contact with the victim. I pushed deep into my pockets and removed every single penny I had on me,and sent to Uganda for the victim to have a much needed surgery. On January 1, 2020, the operation was done at Kiruddu general hospital. Unfortunately, a window of much funds needed for sustaining the recovery skyrocketed. Medicines are extremely expensive. It's for this reason that I appeal to you--my friends to step in for the innocent younger woman. I will account for every penny donated to this cause. My associates in Kampala are reliable, paragons and honest to a fault. I have relied on them all the times I have voluntarily chosen to provide much needed relief to the least-fortunate amongst us. I have never fundraised money since I always thought, I may be misunderstood. Yet this has gone beyond my limits. Anything you can afford will be appreciated with gratitude. I am open for interviews and clarification for this matter. Thank you in advance.
