Hi everyone! We are holding a fundraiser to raise money for the current COVID-19 healthcare crisis in India.
"Let's Help India" is an initiative started by students in Ottawa, Canada. After seeing the ongoing healthcare emergency in India due to the second wave of COVID-19, our team has been extremely overwhelmed. Therefore, we have decided to take a step forward and do what we can to help the people affected.
The money donated on this page goes directly to SEWA Canada and from there it will be used to provide essential kits and oxygen concentrators.
The cost for specific donations is as follows but ANYTHING HELPS :
CAD $26: This is for a family’s essentials kit. In this kit, they will find Ration, Basic Medicines, Masks, Sanitizers, etc.
CAD $251: This is for Ration, Oximeter, Basic Medicines, Masks, Sanitizers, etc. in community homes with 20-30 people such as orphanages/old-age homes.
CAD $600: This is for an oxygen concentrator. 200 Oxygen concentrators have already been ordered by SEWA in India.
100% of your donation is transferred to the effort on the ground. All donations are tax-deductible in Canada. Tax receipts will be issued automatically by GoFundMe via PayPal Giving Fund.
