Hoku's recovery
Donation protected
On 7/11/11 while working as a youth camp counselor I sustained an injury and was left with a C4/C5 spinal chord injury. I spent some time at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu and was later flown to the Craig Hospital in Colorado for rehabilitation. Since my injury I have made a lot of progress. I am able to breath without a ventilator and have regained some movement in my upper arms. I still have a long way to go and that's why I am asking for help. Project Walk in San Diego specializes in helping people like me walk again. It's an intense physical therapy program and I can't wait to go there and work hard. My goal is to raise 25,000 so I can go to Project Walk this summer. The money I raise will help pay for the program and also my rent and living expenses. Thank you for reading my story and your support!
