My name is Grey and I am a Trans Man from Birmingham, Alabama. I have known I was different from a very young age and never felt like a girl to begin with, because I never was. Living in the Deep South and being trans is a constant struggle but with this coming year, I want to face these struggles head on.
I started Hormone Replacement Therapy for the first time in June 2017, then had some complications and only was on t for a month when I had to stop, starting again in November 2017. I am now a year and some change on hrt and am ready to make the journey into other aspects of my transition. Growing up in a single parent home, it is hard to even imagine the possibility of affording this out of pocket, but for other circumstances, I turn here for your support. Any donation will help me reach my goal in the long run, going towards medical costs such as anesthesia, the fact that my insurance (or really any insurance in my area) doesn’t cover anything, and other aspects of the healing process. I hope to bring lots of photos and stories from my experiences and start living an over all better life for myself.
