Please Help Us Fix Our Home

About 5 months ago my wife and I had to quit our jobs to go take care of my mom and Grandma in Northern Arizona when they both had to undergo surgery in the same week.  My job was at a smoke shop that I "volunteered" at for 2 years as manager and my wife worked at a pizza place. I worked my ass off at that job, 60 hours a week, 6 days a week, I put my heart and soul into that job and leaving it was very tough for me. But we did it, we left the west valley in our crappy, converted van. Not too long after, my grandma's apartment complex manager told her that we couldn't stay there unless we we're put on the lease and since my mom was already living there too, we weren't able to, even though we left everything to move there to take care of them. So we were stranded in Northern Arizona with no jobs and no place to stay. Luckily we had our still running, makeshift converted van "Nigel" to sleep in, but unfortunately it was in the Arizona summer heat. With nowhere to go back to we decided to go to Colorado to start fresh, while surviving off our remaining savings and selling stickers and our stuff until we found work. Nigel the Van made it all the way to Fort Collins, Colorado where my wife had some family but then the transmission went out and her family had moved away. Fortunately, my wife got a job at another pizza place but we were stranded again and living out of a van that was stuck in a parking lot at a pizza place. Shortly after that, our van gets a tow notice and we were about to lose everything. But then an amazing guy who was a friend of a friend of my wife's donated his old Volvo(with a not-as-bad-as-our-old-van power steering leak) to us as long as we donated Nigel to a charity. He also gave us a place to stay for a little bit. But of course, his property management hassled him too about us staying there, so we had to leave but now we have a running Volvo to sleep in. We were able to get Nigel donated before he got towed, to Heritage for the Blind, a charity organization that promised us vouchers for food and a few nights at a hotel. That was a lie though. The qualifying hotels were all out of state and we had to book them 90 days in advance and the food vouchers were just coupons valid after qualifying purchases. Even with being lied to, we thought everything was starting to slowly get better but then the power steering leak got worse and now we are having to fill up the entire reservoir just to make a trip down the road. All the power steering fluid is draining us of money and the repair costs around $1000 and we definitely don't have that, considering we're now living out of "Virgil" the Volvo on the street. We are too broke to afford to constantly buy power steering to get back and forth to our jobs so we need to get it fixed before it gets worse. We are trying our best and we've truly exhausted all of our options and we're desperate.   Please help us.
