Welcome Family and Friends. We appreciate the amazing response of prayers and words of encouragement. We see answered prayers every day. God is good.
Three days before his 55th birthday he was told he had some type of cancer. It took 18 days of many tests and a few more doctor visits to determine that it was renal cell carcinoma. If that wasn't bad enough he also has Stage IV metastasis with cancer in his pelvis, spine and ribs. So his life as he knew it is forever gone. The hardest thing he had to do was explain this to his kids and mother. But he feels so blessed to be surrounded by a great family and the very best friends a person could ever have. Here we are three and a half years later needing other options. The next best step for Dan is alternative treatments at the Immunity Therapy Center (immunitytherapycenter.com).
Dan has so much to live for. He is an amazing husband, father and grandfather. His strength through all of this is inspiring and he needs us now more than ever to help give him a fighting chance. The treatment alone is expensive and as we all know insurance doesn't cover the alternative options. He will be traveling to Tijuana so there is also a need for money to be spent on food, car, lodging, and flight to San Diego.
