A Chance to Reach A Dream
Donation protected
Every little kid has a dream: doctor, astronaut, President of the United States. I was an incredibly annoying child, with a dream of becoming an actor. I've been putting on shows for my family audience since I could walk, and never let go of the dream...27 years later, after a lot of hard work, living in a 2 bedroom apartment in Los Angeles with 6 people, eating Top Ramen and Fiber One bars for probably too many meals, plenty of rejections, and basically buying out the self help section of Barnes and Noble, I'm finally staring my dream right in the face.
On January 6, 2015, I have been blessed with the incredible opportunity to attend IMTA Los Angeles - a week where actors, models, and hosts get to show their stuff in front of every major talent agent, manager, and casting director from LA to NYC to Tokyo. Only 1000 people nationwide get to head to Hollywood for this once in a lifetime chance, and holy cow...somehow I am one of them.
This is where I need YOUR help. And I need it badly. This opportunity came at the last minute, and although I can pay the bills, there's not much leftover. I need $5,700.00 by December 2nd (WHOA!) in order to make it to IMTA. I'm currently working my butt off, clocking 57 hours per week between two jobs. But unfortunately, even though I'm putting every extra cent I have away every single day, it's downright impossible for me to raise the funds. I'm young and tenacious, but in the acting world, I'm ancient! This is my last real shot at making my lifelong dream come true.
I don't expect charity, and I promise that for every dollar donated, I'll put at least a dollar of my own. I promise to work as hard as I can. I promise to be truly grateful for every single cent that is donated. Every dollar helps, and every donation is a step towards a dream.
Here's a look at where I've gone so far on this journey:
