Bug is an 8 year-old rescued Doberman who became paralyzed on all four legs on August 15, 2013. Since then, she has been working her bony little butt off in daily physical therapy sessions, either at home or with the pros. At this point, Bug needs a quad cart to get her into an upright position for extended periods of time. She's had a surgery and two CT scans, so funds are running low. What isn't running low is her enthusiasm, joy, and gratitude to be with her mom, dad, and six doggy siblings.

Carts are critical for dogs like Bug, who need to remember what it's like to be on their feet. When Bug no longer needs it, it will be donated to another dog in need, either in rescue or owned by someone who has the will to help their dog recover but not the financial means to do it. As a longtime rescuer and no-kill advocate, it's very important to me that Bug's journey and this cart help as many dogs as possible.
We are inspired by Kenny, the amazing paralyzed Doberman who recently went viral on the internet when he walked (and ran!) again after six months. We have been at this for three months, and we know this cart will make all the difference in getting Bug on her feet faster.
