Strong young adult with brain tumor

Donation protected
Shortly after starting employment at Gladwyne Animal Hospital, Anna started exhibiting some vision issues. A visit to her eye doctor and Wills Eye in Philadelphia determined there was a tumor.

She was scheduled for an emergency biopsy which soon came back as a very rare type of cancer called "primary pineal parenchymal of intermediate differentiation." Anna was so brave and prepared as best she could for brain surgery. She even asked if she could still come to work between having had the surgical biopsy procedure and her second surgery! We were happy to have her here since that made things feel a bit normal for her. Her family and boyfriend waited anxiously through the 8 hour surgery for good news.

She did great throughout the procedure but will ultimately need both chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
Unfortunately, Anna's cancer is so rare (less than 1% of all central nervous system tumors) that there only a handful of people who have had it. The protocol is not clear.

Please help us help Anna and her family through this unfair and horrific battle
