Our Last Chance To Save Our Home

Those of you who know me, know that I am no stranger to bad luck. You also know that if I have it, and can spare it, if you need it, it is yours. I have always been that type of person, perhaps it is why I am in the predicament that I am in at this current time.
My home is humble, we don't have a lot. We have what we need. Recently my love, my life partner for 6 years has taken ill. He has had to have his work schedule reduced and may possibly need to have surgery, but we haven't been able to afford to take him to the doctor to have his condition treated.
That has made our finances extremely tight to start with, add on a mishap with a thieving internet site, a lemon of a truck, that blew the motor 7 months after it was purchased, a job that has inadvertently become an additional problem by temporarily ceasing benefits and compensation due to a clerical error. Don't get me wrong, those clerical errors have been corrected and are no longer an issue, but there is still fall out damage they caused and that is why I need your help.
We have overcome a lot, and we have even more to overcome. At this time we are needing the money requested only to secure the roof over our head while giving us time that we need to get the moneys and resources together to move. Also, we need a deposit for the electric, utilities were in our landlord's name, and we paid the utilities to him, so there is no account history for utilities and our area of NC requires a small deposit to be made for first time account holders.
We also need to fix our vehicles so that we can move. We are aiming for repairing the truck as it is needed for Rich's job and towing my car when we move. We have to come up with over 2000.00 to get that fixed, and we are in the process of trying to figure that into the budget too.
I am asking if anyone can help us. We need your help, this isn't from poor budgeting, or poor planning, from overspending, or from anything else that could be deemed as irresponsible. This is simply because we ran into a spell of bad luck that is going to have devastating consequences for our kids and our cat if we can't keep our home and cover our expenses that we have incurred unexpectedly.
