Our friend and long time Vancouver resident Agustin Martinez-Bautista was recently picked up on his way to work, and taken from his family.  He is being held in the immigration prison in Tacoma, WA facing possible deportation.  His only crime was being in the US illegally.   Agustin works at the equestrian center where I, and several friends board our horses.   He is well known for his tireless work ethic, love for his family, and ever present smile.  Agustin has been in the US for 20 years, works full time, and pays taxes.  He provides for his beautiful family which includes 6 US born children ages 6-18 all who attend local schools here in Vancouver, WA.  His oldest son Gustavo is attending Clark Comm College, the first in his family to go to college. 

HOW YOU CAN HELP ? ....
 Donate Money $   We are raising money so that Agustin may have legal represenation for his pending immigration hearings, and potential bond.  His bond hearing is scheduled for Oct 19th, immigration hearing is pending. 

Without Augstin's income, his family is struggling to pay for rent.  His hopes are that the  judge offers him a bond option, so he can be released to work and provide for his family, while defending his deportation case.  We are also helping out with basic family needs as they arrise.  I will post updates as we learn them.
