Help for Dan

Dan has been in my life for a few months and quickly became someone I knew I could go to if I ever had a need. Last evening (6/7/2020) Dan’s home and workshop were consumed by a devastating fire. By chance, he decided to cancel his canoeing trip and while spending some time at his workshop, noticed a wildfire on a distant hill. Within 45 minutes, the fire had reached his base. Dan was at the right place at the right time to help all of the animals escape safely and alert his co-workers. Unfortunately, many of their belongings, dreams, and the work of their hands were destroyed. Within a day, Dan became displaced and can no longer live off that land.

I realize how uncertain 2020 has been, and how many are facing hardships of their own. As his friend, I’m just trying to help if I can. Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs, and I hope this fund will help alleviate some of the challenges that he is facing, and helps to rebuild his life. I know he would be extremely grateful for any donation. I appreciate your time and consideration.
