Help Zikora regain her sight and hearing!

This fundraising will help pay for Zikoraife Chimsimdi Nnadi’s treatment of complications from acute meningitis.

One year old Zikora was diagnosed with acute meningitis and has been receiving treatment since last year. On December 1, 2021 Zikora experienced some discomfort after breakfast and shortly became breathless. The Paediatricians started treatment for Pneumococcal meningitis, an acute bacterial meningitis with raised intracranial pressure. Zikora responded well and was out of the acute condition within 14 days. Unfortunately, her recovery left her with complications such as loss of hearing, loss of sight and uncontrolled body movement which makes sitting difficult for her. Further assessment of both ears showed that Zikora would require cochleae implant to aid her hearing. The Doctors recommend we get another diagnosis from a second Paediatrician to assess her chances at regaining her sight and hearing. It is for this reason we are soliciting your kind donations to raise the funds that will enable Zikora to see a Paediatrician and get a cochleae transplant. Little Zikora needs all the prayers and support we can give, especially our financial donations as she walks this journey to recovery.
