Zeke was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2013 at age 9. After 3 years of treatment, Zeke was found to be cancer free, only to relapse 8 months later. For the following 2 years, Zeke underwent extensive chemotherapy and brain radiation. He completed his treatment in 2019. Sadly, a month later, just weeks before his 16th birthday, Zeke relapsed for the second time.
The cancer is currently in his cerebral spinal fluid and bone marrow. The family is understandably devastated, but they have a strong faith in God and in each other. They remain determined to beat this, but they need our help now more than ever.
Zeke has been referred to MD Anderson to undergo CAR T cell therapy and a stem cell transplant. During these treatments, Zeke will be admitted to the hospital for 8 weeks at a time. His parents will remain with him in Houston during this time, which will prove very expensive.
It is my wish to alleviate some of their stress by raising enough money for them to cover bills, expenses, travel, or anything else that might come up during this time. Please donate what you can and feel free to share. #TeamZeke361
