Help Zach Garner - An American Patriot

Zack Garner was raised in Indianapolis Indiana, where he enlisted in the army in 2004. He attended basic training at Fort Sill, and was awarded the 13F (forward Observer) MOS. In 2009 Zack attended the Special Forces Assessment and selection course at Fort Bragg, NC. He went on to earn his green beret and a new job as a Special Forces Communications Sergeant. Throughout his time in the U.S. Army, Zack completed four combat deployments. 

After being medically separated from the Army in late 2014 for traumatic brain injuries, Zack went on to ride a bicycle across the USA to raise money for non pharmeceutical treatments for vets with brain injuries. Following the completion of this ride Zack was struck by a car during an Ironman event, and spent the next 18 months rehabilitating his body. It was during this time that Zack decided he wasn’t done serving overseas, and started looking into Private contracting.

Zack had been working as a contractor for approximately 3 years. In July 2020, he was diagnosed with Necrotizing Fasciitis (Flesh eating bacteria) in his left leg. He has currently had six surgeries to remove the bacteria from his leg, but now has an infection in his his hips, pelvis, right leg, and his heart.

Please know that Zach has a long road ahead him - both for on-going medical issues as you’ve read above and also recovery and extensive physical therapy for his leg. As contractors we are not provided medical insurance so we pay everything out of pocket. Please know that your donation will assist Zach tremendously and more than words can express!

These generous donated funds will go directly to assisting Zach aka Data/Half-Step with medical bills, mortgage payments, etc due to loss of income because he isn’t working at the moment. This campaigned was created by Christopher Chaney, also known as Five-O from Utopia, Texas a co-worker of Zach’s (Data). Zach will be the beneficiary of these donated funds in which will be purely utilized for his personal bills, his medical bills and his daily necessities while he’s unable to return to work.
