50 units were impacted, and will need work done to the units. The bottom units must be gutted, and repaired in order to save the top floor units. If the repairs are not made, she risks losing the entire property.
The owner of the property who graciously opened up the building up to house Nashville's most vulnerable, is at a complete loss. The residents cannot return to the building until the units are repaired.
We are asking the community to band together, and help rebuild the Hotel.
The reality is, while agencies are scrambling to find housing for the residents. The city does not have a lot of options.
We know that housing saves lives, and the more days a person is in housing the longer they live.
We hope you will join in bringing hope back to Shabana, and the to the residents who call this hotel home.
The funds will be used to repair the units, and move the residents back to their homes.
Thank you, and may the Lord bless you!
