Help WYC Upgrade Our Studio

Since 2015, Washington Yoga Center (WYC) has provided classes in various traditions to the Washington D.C. community with seriousness and determination. Each of our dedicated teachers has a long history of outstanding teaching and continue to teach online devotedly to provide the best of yoga education and discipline.

Washington Yoga Center, like many small businesses, was severely impacted by the pandemic, and we were forced to terminate our lease and liquidate much of the studio furniture and supplies.

Two years later, we are thrilled to announce that we have secured a new location, right around the corner from the previous one!

But we need your help! We ask you to please consider donating to our “WYC GoFundMe campaign”. Your donations will support the costs of relocating and renovating the new studio and closing the WYC financial sheet's negative gap.

If we join forces, we can prevent more losses caused by the pandemic. Please help us spread the word by sharing the “WYC GoFundMe Campaign” with your friends, family, and co-workers.

While we have met our initial basic needs in order to re-open the studio in January 2022, we still have a long way to go to make this gorgeous space truly feel like home. Our $20,000 goal will go towards the purchase of furniture, technology for hybrid classes, front desk support and supplies, all needed to rebuild the studio and in-person community while still supporting the online community.
